Kathleen Sears is the founder and president of KSears Institute Inc. (1994). She has a Bachelor Degree in Applied Social Sciences (Concordia University, 1987), a Human Resources Certificate (McGill University, 1992) and McGill Executive Institute, 2006. She is also an accredited trainer for the Canadian program called Roots of Empathy (2009).
Ms Sears has more than twenty years experience as a professional speaker, management consultant, supervisor and owner of her company. Her various mandates have been in small, medium and large sized companies in Canada, the United States, Mexico and Africa. She is a member of CHRP (Certified Human Resources Professionals), CAPS (Canadian Association of Professional Speakers-Board of Directors) and ILA (International Leadership Association. She has also done some humanitarian aid in Africa and was Project Manager for Dentists without Borders (Tanzania). She has also developed a program for elementary schools entitled “Celebrating Differences” to eliminate the different forms of bullying in the school setting.
